Job Description
We are looking for an RF Intern to join our RF team and to be involved with RF-related activities across different frequency ranges. The Internship will primarily focus on mmWave antenna and MIMO array development, electromagnetic simulations, RF measurements and verification, while also providing technical support on RF and EMC topics across the company.
Key Responsibilities
mmWave range:
- Antenna design
- MIMO Array feeding network design
- MIMO Array feeding network verification
- Measurement verification using VNA and SA
- Material characterisation using hybrid methods
Lower frequency ranges:
- EMC complience and testing
- Support on all RF questions within the company
Requirements
Required Technical Skills:
- High level knowledge in area of microwave theory
- EM Simulation Software (CST, WIPL-D, HFSS, etc)
- MATLAB (Octave, Python is plus)
- MS Word
- MS Excel
- Microwave measurement equipment (VNA and SA)
General:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with different engineering teams
- Quick-thinking and analytical skills
- Curious and willing to learn
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word
What we offer
Internship program is with scholarship provided.
If completion of the internship were to be successful, results can be used for writing of B.Sc. or M.Sc. thesis, subject to approval by the supervising professor at the University and Novelic. Moreover, satisfying results of the full-time internship will increase the chance of full-time position within the Novelic.
